Job Overview:

The chosen candidate will assume responsibility for a range of critical tasks, including preparing renewals, handling new business applications, managing mid-term amendments, and creating client information presentations. Negotiating premiums and terms with insurers is a key aspect of this role. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for addressing daily client queries and maintaining accurate records within the Acturis System.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a broking role within the Commercial Insurance sector is highly preferred. However, experience in related fields like underwriting will also be considered.
• Proficiency in IT, strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport, and effective negotiation techniques are essential.
• A proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to take initiative are highly valued.
• Possession of Cert CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualification is desirable, although support will be provided for achieving it.
