Form of workOur client, within the electrical industry, is looking for an Account Manager to join the Sales & Marketing team on a permanent basis.
The new Account Manager will sit between the technical solutions team and the clients.
The role will involve developing existing relations with clients as well as supporting in sourcing new ones. Also supporting clients with any technical support.
Other aspects of the job include;
- Working closely with KDM's in order to promote the company’s products.
- Ensuring the supply solutions align with the clients' technical requirements.
- Providing quotes, as well as alternative solutions to the clients.
- Working with the technical team in overseeing the implementation of supply solutions.
- Overseeing project timelines.
- Building relations with all key contacts both internally and externally, ensuring all queries are dealt with and adequate solutions are provided.
Key attributes to do the job;
- The ability to build relations with technical professionals.
- Project management experience.
- Willingness to travel to client meetings.
- Business development skills and experience.
- The ability to work and liaise with contacts at varying levels and to transcribe technical language to non-technical individuals.
- Strong communication skills are very important.
- To have commercial awareness.
Anyone from a sales background would be beneficial. Also beneficial would be a degree in electrical engineering or similar.
