Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Commercial Administrator to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial department, ensuring the smooth operation of various administrative tasks. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and submission of tender documents and contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate administrative tasks and resolve queries.
- Support the commercial team in monitoring project budgets, costs, and expenditures.
- Generate reports and presentations as required by management.
- Assist with general administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to ensure effective communication and workflow.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within the construction or housing industry.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.
