A long term, inside IR35 opportunities exists for a Commercial Administrator on an iconic rail project in Manchester and Huddersfield. Be part of a dynamic project team improving the travelling experience of rail commuters between Manchester and Leeds.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Input requisition etc for goods and services and ensure that these are accurate and coded.
- Handle order generation to ensure deadlines are met to suit company timeframes and protocols.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline buying processes and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Maintaining the plant and materials supplier s database
- Provide administrative support to various commercial operations as needed.
- Input cost and project information into spreadsheets and in-house database.
- Compile and produced reports as well as check information for accuracy.
- Updating excel trackers and collating data for weekly meetings.
- Assisting in cost monitoring of site resources and maintaining the system
- Check and evaluate raised invoices and resolve queries and discrepancies.
The requirements for this:
- Proven experience in accounts payable, procurement, and order management.
- Familiarity with administrative tasks within commercial operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools. SAP would be advantageous.
- Previous experience working for major tier one construction companies would be advantageous.
