Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Commercial Administrator to provide essential support to our commercial team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations, managing documentation, and facilitating communication within the commercial department. Responsibilities:
- Documentation Management:
- Organize and maintain project documentation, contracts, and correspondence.
- Ensure timely filing and retrieval of documents for easy access by the commercial team.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and other relevant documents.
- Contract Administration:
- Collaborate with the commercial team to administer and monitor project contracts.
- Track contract milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of contract variations and amendments.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Facilitate communication within the commercial department and with external stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between the commercial team and other departments.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring accurate minutes are recorded.
- Financial Support:
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets.
- Track project expenditures and report on variances.
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate financial records.
- Compliance and Regulation:
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Assist in ensuring that projects adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and project management is a plus.
