Commercial AdministratorSalary: £25,000 - £30,000 Location: Barnsley (site based) Hours: Monday-Thursday - 8.30am-5pm, Friday - 8.30am-4pm. Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a motivated and organised Commercial Administrator to join our clients thriving team. The Commercial Administrator should have excellent purchasing and customer service skills. This is a fantastic role that encourage the development of purchasing knowledge and supports progression within a growing company. As a Commercial Administrator you will provide efficient communication across different departments and maintain an ambitious mindset for personal development. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to further develop their purchasing skills.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Administrator.

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Updating prices and data
  • Chasing orders efficiently
  • Communicate with suppliers, sourcing delivery and expediting of orders
  • Forecasting incoming materials
  • Transport booking
  • Cover contracts reviews
  • Liaise with different departments to ensure smooth running if deliveries

Requirements of the Commercial Administrator

  • Previous experience working in a team environment.
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in manufacturing
  • Purchasing experience (Desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT skills and use of all Microsoft packages
