Role: Commercial and Subcontract Senior Analyst -
Location: UK Wide with Hybrid working
Summary of Role:
Working under general direction manages low value routine contracts and Subcontracts. Supports Commercial/Subcontract Managers to manage high value/ complex contracts/subcontracts and to respond to requests for proposals.
Main Duties:
- Support to Subcontract Managers in preparation and assessment of Requests for Proposal and negotiation of agreements and changes
- Placement and maintenance of low value Purchase Orders
- Administration of standard due diligence activity
- Creation and maintenance of compliance matrices
- Management and measurement of supplier delivery performance
- Administration of acceptance and receipt of goods and services
- Maintenance of records
- Attends customer, supplier and internal reviews in support of Subcontract Manager
- Support to Commercial Managers in preparation of responses to Requests for Proposal and negotiation of agreements and changes
- Management of low value Contracts
- Administration of standard due diligence activity
- Creation and maintenance of compliance matrices
- Measurement of Contract performance
- Administration of delivery, acceptance and invoicing of goods and services
- Maintenance of records
- Attendance at customer and internal reviews in support of Contract Manager
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
- Good general office skills including Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to work in a team
- Good verbal and written communications
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Experience of Contract Management and delivery/ acceptance/ invoicing processes
- Basic understanding of logistics
- Basic knowledge of standard agreement types
- Experience of MRP and purchase order placement/ material receipt processes
Desirable:
- Basic understanding of supplier evaluation and selection
- Experience of negotiation
- Experience of financial management
- Basic knowledge of programme management skill set to include risk management
- Awareness of Import/ Export Legislation
