SalaryPremier Recruitment are happy to be working with our client based in Ipswich Suffolk. We are looking to speak with experienced Commercial Catering Gas Engineers, to join our client on a fulltime permanent basis.
Alternatively, if you are qualified in domestic gas and want a change, we would support you in retraining and completing the relevant qualifications needed.
This role is a field based and you will require a full CLEAN UK driving licence
Commercial Catering Gas Engineer Duties
- Install, commission, and upgrade commercial gas systems, adhering to manufacturer specifications and relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on commercial gas systems & plumbing systems, including boilers, water heaters, and pipework, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose and repair gas system issues promptly, minimising downtime for clients. Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems efficiently.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all gas systems comply with current regulations and safety standards. Conduct safety checks, leak tests, and emissions tests as necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain service requirements and address any questions or concerns.

- COMCAT 1,3,5
- LPG including mobile units
- Clean driving licence
- Excellent time keeping

- Area covered is East Anglia
- 40 hrs a week
