Commercial Claims Executive

Our Client, a major Insurance Brokerage, is looking to recruit another Claims Executive to work in a busy and successful department.

Our Client has successfully proved that hybrid working operates well for them, their Clients and their people, so this is a role that can be performed between your home and their office.

You will be working across Commercial classes and will be involved in all stages of the claims process from first notification to settlement, including some with major losses.

As Claims Executive it will be your responsibility for providing exceptional customer service and relationship management for your clients.

Your responsibilities as a Claims Executive will include:

• Manage from notification to settlement mainly Commercial Claims including Motor, Property and Casualty claims
• Dealing with queries from clients and Insurers
• Negotiating to reach the best settlement possible for your clients whilst maintaining a good relationship with Insurers and claimants
• Provide accurate technical advice on policy coverage and explain the correct claims process
• Preparation of claims experience for Account Handlers
• Maintain accurate system records including amendments of reserves and reporting upwards where appropriate
• Develop and maintain good relations with Insurers and keep abreast of market developments

To be successful in the role of Claims Executive you will demonstrate the following:

• Commercial Claims Handling experience to ideally include Property Claims
• Confident telephone manner and good interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to manage your workload with the minimum supervision
