Great career opportunity for an experienced Commercial / Contracts Manager, ideally with experience in the electrical service industry to join the team based in the Rugby office.
The company are experts in their field as a leading electrical contractor with installation, service and maintenance offerings on both LV and HV systems.
As the Commercial / Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for :
- Understanding and agreeing contract T&Cs
- Identifying potential project risks at tender stages
- Ensuring T&C`s are understood by Project teams and followed
- Provide technical assistance on Contract Administration
- Working with Sales and Project teams to assist in preparation of bid responses
- Manage tender process to ensure all bid responses are submitted on time with correct approvals gained
- Support Business Managers with P&L, budget, and overall commercial responsibility of projects
- Support project teams with the management of costs and risks to improve efficiency and increase project performances and profitability
- Review compliance of project processes, and procedures to ensure good quality project delivery with high customer satisfaction

Required experience of Commercial / Contracts Manager
- Proven commercial knowledge and experience, including contract terms and conditions, budgets and cost control
- Ideally hold strong experience in the power generation sector (renewables, steam, gas, oil etc)
- Excellent negotiation skills/experience
Proven experience in Project & Commercial Management - High interpersonal skills, with ability to motivate people and create and maintain a culture of team working
- Commercial / legal qualifications would be advantageous.
