Commercial Data Analyst - £45,000 DOE - Central Belt (Hybrid)

My client, a leading FinTech organisation are on the lookout for a new Commercial Data Analyst to join their existing and highly successful team. This role with see the candidate partner with industry leading clients to produce valuable insights, analytics, and reports.

This is the perfect role for an experienced professional looking to make a step up and develop their career further.

This position will be a permanent, hybrid role, requiring office travel to either Glasgow or Edinburgh twice per week to work at either company offices or client sites.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to forecast revenue, evaluate pricing strategies, and assess profitability.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and address business challenges.
• Utilise statistical techniques and predictive modeling to uncover patterns and make data-driven recommendations.
• Assist and produce business intelligence strategies to aid in business growth and performance.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in commercial analytics and data management.

Requirements:

• 1st class degree (bonus points)
• Significant expreince as either a Data, BI, Marketing, or Commercial Analyst
• Experience with SQL & Power BI (Essential)
• Python, Qlik, Google Analytics + any certifications (bonus points again)
• Experience working on end-to-end projects in a client facing capacity
