Orka Financial is working with a global consumer goods business based in Slough (hybrid) to recruit an experienced analyst to join their high performing finance team. This team has a wealth of experience and tenure offering an excellent place for an ambitious, commercially minded finance professional to develop & progress. This role will offer exposure to senior stakeholders throughout the business and require a candidate with excellent communication and business partnering skills.
Responsibilities:
• Process and review revenue forecasting input on a monthly basis, making sure all the numbers submitted are accurate, with focus on volume, mix and price
• Ensure the timely and accurate management of price and rebate changes
• Act as an authorised signatory for price corrections, rebate changes and rebate credits. Ensure proactive investigation of all submissions while adhering to timely process management
• Actively aim to streamline existing processes with focus on rebate development and optimising systems
• Attend monthly actual/forecast meetings with Sales Managers and Supply Chain Management, making sure precise collection/challenge of information to support actual and forecast results
• Produce monthly full P/L actual and forecast reports with management commentary for business units
• Complete full month end process for the supply chain organsistion, including posting of accruals, prepayments, updating financial forecast etc.
• Be a business partner to the UK suppy chain organisation by supporting local management with relevant financial information to make key business decisions
• Produce monthly supply chain cost reporting on various KPI’s including commentary on results
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of supply chain cost liabilities, ensuring liabilities are accurately accounted for
• Variance analysis of actuals versus, last year, budget and forecast to support business decisions
• Work with local and HQ finance and commercial operations teams to optimise systems and processes
• Financial appraisals, modelling, budgeting and forecasting
• Support on ad-hoc projects and undertake additional tasks where appropriate
Profile:
• Studying CIMA or ACCA Part qualified / Finalist level
• 5 years experience in Business Partnering / Commercial Finance / Supply Chain Finance
• 5 years experience in an FP&A environment and dealing with variance analysis reporting
• Experience working to strict deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills
• Power BI skills desirable

Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000 + benefits
