SalaryMichael Page are thrilled to partner with our client to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner. This is a newly-created and position reports into the Finance Director. It will interface with the board, Head of Operations and Head of Purchasing. You will be responsible for the top half of the P&L, promoting and provoking commercial thinking to support the business and deliver the expansion plans across the UK and Europe.

Our client is a Premium Drinks Business based in the heart of Glasgow with a successful history, and they're keen to continue on a trajectory of growth across the UK and European markets.
Description
The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
- Ownership of the top half of the P&L i.e., sales, cost of sales and gross profit
- Developing a suite of Commercial Finance reports, analysis and insights
- Providing data driven commercial recommendations to unlock growth
- Effective communication and team working with key stakeholders across all functions of the business (sales, operations, purchasing, web, etc)
- Development of forecast and budget models
- Optimising systems and IT infrastructure to drive the business forward through reporting and data maintenance
- Management of stock processes and controls
Profile
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
- Newly Qualified accountant - ideally coming from small/mid-tier practice OR industry
- Commercially astute
- Driven and ability to work independently
- High levels of initiative and team working
- Ability to communicate effectively across all areas of the business
- Expert in Microsoft Excel
Job Offer
This role offers a competitive salary between £45,000-£47,000 plus benefits.
