Harmonic are delighted to have been engaged exclusively by an internationally renowned agency, on their search for a Head of Commercial Finance for a 15 month contract.
The Client
Our client has carved out a niche within their sector and has become a globally recognised business for the incredible body of work and clients they've secured. This role will report directly into the Finance Director, but will have excellent exposure to the Senior Leadership and Client Leads.
They operate a culture which is renowned for its high-standards, openness, sociability and diversity. The office is based in Central London and they operate a hybrid policy.
The Role
The finance team consists of 6 people, as the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 3, including Client Accountants and WIP Accountants. This is a broad role which will focus heavily on the revenue pipeline and commercial position with the organisation. It's a fantastic opportunity to work for a globally scaling organisation that has lofty growth ambitions and have a significant impact.
Duties
- Develop and mentor a team of 3 Client Accountants
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the company
- Own the revenue and pipeline position, providing insightful reporting to the broader team
- Act as a trusted business partner and advisor with Account Leads and the Senior Leadership team.
- Oversee month-end and year-end revenue recognition
- Cast oversight on WIP processes and provide key pieces of financial analysis.
- Ad-hoc projects to support the Finance Director
Essential Experience
- Strong Excel experience
- Experience within the Agency industry (ideally Network Agency)
- Excellent communication skills
Day Rate: £375-450 (Inside IR35)
Start Date: Late March/Early April
