AddressOrbital Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer with FGAS for our client based in Bromsgrove, West Midlands
The Job/Duties:
Our client, a well-established HVAC company, is seeking a skilled FGas & Commercial Gas Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be based centrally between Stoke and Oxford, with proximity to Bromsgrove considered advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess both FGas and Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1).
- Undertake national travel for various projects, occasionally requiring overnight stays.
- Be available for a 1 in 6 call-out rota and willing to work overtime as needed.
- Demonstrate expertise in Commercial Heating systems.
- Fully embrace a role that involves door-to-door travel and working away from home.
Experience Needed/ About You:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Possession of relevant qualifications, including FGas and either COCN1 or CODNCO1.
- Based in a central location between Stoke and Oxford, with proximity to Bromsgrove preferred.
- Willingness to travel nationally for work, with travel expenses covered door-to-door.
- Availability for a 1 in 6 call-out rota and overtime as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
Pay, Hours & Contract Type:
- Competitive salary, ranging up to £40,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- OTE (On Target Earnings) upwards of £50,000 per annum.
- Fully covered travel expenses, including door-to-door reimbursement.
- Overtime payment for additional hours worked.
- Inclusion in a 1 in 6 call-out rota.
- A standard 40-hour working week.
