Our client is a family run commercial, industrial and domestic heating and hot water systems company. They cover a range of services, inclusive of; hot water systems, plumbing and heating, steam processing, engineered plumbing and filtration - using natural gases, oil, solar/thermal and bio-gas.
Due to an expansion, they're looking for multiple experienced Gas Engineers to join their team.
Position Overview - Commercial Gas Engineer
- Install, commission, and maintain Commercial Gas heating systems, boilers, and associated equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Ensure all Commercial Gas installations and maintenance activities adhere to relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform gas safety checks, inspections, and certification processes as required.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams on Commercial Gas systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with project engineers and design teams to ensure seamless integration of gas systems in new projects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all Commercial Gas Engineering activities, including service reports, safety certificates, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare detailed reports for clients, outlining work performed and recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with commercial clients to understand their requirements, provide updates on service activities, and address any concerns.
Position Requirements - Commercial Gas Engineer
- Gas Safe registration and relevant Commercial Gas qualifications.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer
- In-depth knowledge of Commercial Gas regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full, clean driving license.
- Successful applicants will need to have their own hand tools
