We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Fee Earner to join a reputable firm located in Wakefield.
The firm are expanding and as a Commercial Litigation Fee Earner, you will hit the ground running, and be a key contributor to the firm's success.
The role would suit a Commercial Litigation Fee Earner with upwards of 3 years' litigation experience.

Joining the Commercial Dispute team, you will be managing a diverse portfolio of Commercial Litigation cases, providing end to end legal support and expert advice to clients.
Your caseload will mainly consist of, defamation cases, intellectual property disputes, shareholder disputes, breach of contracts, professional negligence, partnership disputes, injunctions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies and solutions.


• Draft, review, and analyse legal documents, including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and correspondence.


• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their objectives, provide legal counsel, and manage expectations throughout the litigation process.


• Prepare and lead negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions on behalf of clients.


• Represent clients in court proceedings, demonstrating strong advocacy skills and a deep understanding of litigation procedures.


• Supervise and mentor junior paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring the cohesive functioning of the litigation team.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, documentation, and billing information.

The firm will consider qualified Chartered Legal Executives, or experienced Fee Earners currently working within Commercial Litigation with a proven track record.
You will be confident in running high value cases from instruction through to litigation.
