This is your opportunity to work on some of the most complex disputes, whilst also having fun and making a difference. You will play a crucial role in advising esteemed corporate clients and providing strategic guidance to resolve complex legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to corporate clients on a broad range of commercial disputes, with a focus on banking and financial sectors.
- Handle complex, crossborder disputes, leveraging your in-depth knowledge and understanding of international litigation and arbitration procedures.
- Lead and manage all stages of the dispute resolution process, including case assessment, strategy development, negotiation, and representation in court or arbitration proceedings.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop commercial and strategic solutions tailored to their specific needs.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, legal precedents, and regulatory changes affecting Commercial Litigation, and provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in Commercial Litigation, in either a city or top tier regional firm.
- Extensive experience in handling highvalue, premium banking, and commercial disputes, ideally gained within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong expertise in crossborder disputes and a comprehensive understanding of international litigation and arbitration procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal issues and provide clear, commercial advice to clients.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a clientfocused mindset.
- An independent thinker, underpinned by lots of personal confidence.
