We are seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Litigation Associate to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commercial Litigation and a passion for delivering high-quality legal representation. The national Commercial Litigation team comprises experienced professionals covering a wide spectrum of Commercial Litigation and arbitration work. The London Commercial Litigation team, of which you will be a part, consists of seasoned professionals specializing in general commercial disputes, tech, IP, construction, engineering disputes, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of Commercial Litigation matters from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective legal strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Provide sound legal advice and counsel to clients on various Commercial Litigation issues.
- Maintain accurate and timely case management records and billing entries.
- Genuine interest and enthusiasm for Commercial Litigation and alternative dispute resolution
- 1-4 Years PQE
- Strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and ADR processes.
- Experience in general Commercial Litigation Disputes.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exposure to commerical clients in transport, logistics, international trade,retail, insurance, marine, health, education, manufacturing, public sector, and banking and financial services.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
