The role 
As an Associate Solicitor in our Dispute Resolution Team, you will play a crucial role in handling a variety of contentious matters. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated solicitor to work on complex cases, develop their skills, and contribute to the strategic objectives of the department.

The Dispute Resolution Solicitor will handle a range of work and responsibilities including:


•     Handle a diverse caseload of dispute resolution matters, including Commercial Litigation, commercial contract claims, civil litigation, civil fraud, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, breach of directors’ duties, defamation, enforcement of facility agreement and personal guarantees, injunctions, winding up petitions and individual bankruptcy, and debt recovery
•    provide clear and practical legal advice to clients, ensuring high standards of client care and service.
•    Engage in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings to achieve favourable outcomes for clients.
•    Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
•    Work closely with colleagues in the Dispute Resolution Team and other departments to provide comprehensive legal support to clients.
•     Assist in the growth of the Dispute Resolution Department through networking, marketing initiatives, and client relationship management.

To be successful in applying for such a role, you must be a team player who possess excellent client care skills, be technically strong with an eye for detail and have the ability to communicate effectively. You must also be reliable, organised, and able to work in a busy environment, as well as possessing excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
