As the Commercial Manager, you will steer the organisation’s vision and oversee the team managing supplier contracts. You will develop strategic plans, foster collaboration with stakeholders, and deliver cost savings without compromising quality. Your focus will be on improving services, fostering innovation, and implementing sustainable cost efficiencies while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key accountabilities:
- Proactive market insight including coordinated monitoring of potential and existing suppliers.
- Define commercial procurement processes in line with public sector regulations.
- Effective proactive management of supplier relationships.
- Commercial risk identification, mitigation and management.
Key requirements:
- Public Sector Commercial and contract management experience.
- Significant experience of managing a portfolio of complex contracts to ensure value for money is achieved.
- Experience in utilising market insight to aid strategic sourcing and contract management.
- Robust commercial negotiation of commercial and contractual terms.
- Supplier management and engagement experience.
