We presently have an exciting opportunity within the Procurement team for Commercial OfficerCareer Graded Apprenticeship. The successful individual should already hold a relevant A level standard of education or equivalent and will receive an opportunity to study towards a nationally recognised qualification, CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply, as well as receiving a fantastic grounding in the profession and an understanding of how we operate, this could be a springboard into a number of exciting opportunities in the future.
We're looking for a bright, ambitious and enthusiastic individual with an appetite for learning and who love working as part of team. You'll need a good academic track record, excellent organisational skills, demonstrate a technical aptitude and have great communication skills. Should you successfully meet the requirements of the appointment over the Career Graded training period, you will take up the permanent position on full pay.
What will you be paid?
1st year apprentice: 85% of the normal salary for the position, based on the bottom point of the job evaluated scale, subject to real Living Wage provisions; - £23,632
2nd year apprentice: 95% of the normal salary for the position, based on the bottom point of the job evaluated scale, subject real Living Wage provisions; - £26,412
On achieving the qualification, you will be paid on a pay scale currently ranging between £27,803 to £29,777 (Grade 7, SCP15 -19).
