Commercial & Operations Analyst

What is the job?

The connector. The driving force behind collaboration. The most vital cog within the well-oiled machine, driving successful commercial operations. This is the role of the Commercial & Operations Analyst at Cineworld, does this sound like it could be you?

You will need to be in your element orchestrating the intricate innerworkings of Microsoft Excel to your own will and desire. Using this expertise to support both the Operations and Commercial teams with regular reports for payroll and key programmes being run within our Cinemas.

Whilst you will be the connector between multiple departments including Operations, Film, Regional Administration and Cinema Management, you will be reporting into our Head of Commercial UK, Rod Mcleod in the Commercial team.

What will you be doing?

• You will be driving key data analysis for multiple functions that tie together our CSOs (Cinema Support Offices), cinemas and Starbucks stores. This includes payroll analysis through to key propositions such as our ‘Unlimited Card’.
• You won’t just be analysing the data but also extracting and presenting reports on a regular basis to internal & external stakeholders.
• You will use your insights and analysis to advice stakeholders on market share of individual cinemas, competitor analysis and advising stakeholders on changes.
• Most importantly you will be supporting across a wide breadth of our teams in the CSO such as Film, Finance/Payroll, Marketing and Commercial

About you

• You will need strong demonstrable experience using Microsoft Excel to carry out data analysis, use of pivot tables, extracting reports and database management.
• You will be comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders and on occasion presenting reports.
• You will feel completely at home working with large amounts of data.
