What to expect

As a Commercial Portfolio Lead, you will join us on our journey and undertake a truly valuable role responsible for strategic direction and effective contract management across the portfolio with our existing and potential third-party product providers.

You will be responsible for executing our commercial strategies, ensuring they are effective, suitable and deliverable through collaboration with our key internal stakeholders. You will also have shared responsibility of delivering +£80m of annual revenue across the Post Office Travel and international Money and associated partners, as well as Postal Order product lines, with a direct focus on maximising commercial return on contractual negotiations worth £30-£50m.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Relevant commercial experience
  • Strong negotiation planning and delivery skill set
  • Proven track-record of effective relationship management and contract management to enable optimal commercial return
  • Proven influencing skills with leadership, peers, colleagues, teams, particularly cross-functions (e.g., Group Retail, Marketing, Digital)
  • Demonstrable experience in management of multiple stakeholders and delivering products through multiple channels, provided by various product partners as well as wholly owned propositions
  • Experience in working in a regulated business
  • Knowledge of the Global/UK Travel Money industry products and services
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Strong numeracy and decision-making skills
  • Calm and concise thinker
  • Positive and outgoing
