Job Title:Claims Handler
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum
Location: Manchester
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (Hybrid)
COMPANY PROFILE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for our well-established client as a Commercial Property Claims Handler. You will play a vital role in ensuring fair and efficient handling of claims for all customers. Your responsibilities will include validating, investigating, negotiating, and fulfilling Commercial Property Claims within a specified handling authority limit.
Moreover, you will have complete end-to-end ownership and accountability for each claim.
SKILLS REQUIRED

• Commercial claims handling experience required
• Confident telephone manner
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Ability to work to deadlines
• A passion for delivering good customer experiences
• Proficient in using Microsoft packages

RESPONSBILITIES

• End-to-end claims handling of retained technical claims
• Taking calls, helping customers with queries, finding the right insurance product for them
• Providing a comforting and supportive presence for individuals when they need to file a claim.
• Recognise and handle any possible fraudulent claims
• Regulate indemnity expenditure and reserves through effective negotiation.
• Effectively communicate and align with customer and third-party expectations throughout the claims process.
• Maximise revenue generation, cost control and recovery opportunities to negotiate the optimum claim settlement
• Proactively resolve outstanding investigations
