SalaryService Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please see below further details with regards to this position.
ROLE: Commercial Property Lawyer
LOCATION: South East London
RATE: £40.00 to £50.00 per hour
CONTRACT: 6 months with potential for extension
Please note that this role would be hybrid working with 2 days in the office per week.
The Role of the Commercial Property Lawyer
- To manager a full caseload of complex Commercial property matters through to completion
- Matters will include sales and purchases, grants of leases and licences, disposals and acquisitions required
- To assist with the technical property law matters for more junior members of staff
- To occasionally undertake some residential property cases when required to do so
The Person
- A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years' PQE within Commercial Property
- Experience of working for a local authority previously would be an essential requirement
- A strong team player who can manager a complex caseload
