Form of work My client is recruiting for a Commercial Property Solicitor or Associate to join their team in Kent, in their modern office, open-plan, and collaborative work space, surrounded by stunning outdoor space and panoramic views. The firm are very highly renowned and recognised as a leading firm by both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 with offices across Sussex and Kent.
With increasing client demand, the team is looking to grow quickly and appoint an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer at either Solicitor or Associate level to maintain and develop its Kent practice. You will immediately inherit a wide range of client instructions and have the opportunity to build on the firm's existing and extensive professional network across the region to drive new business. You will be fully supported by the firm's wider Commercial Property team including support from the team's legal assistants and secretaries.
The role provides a clear career path for an experienced lawyer who wants to progress with the firm and ultimately to Partner level. You will be involved in high quality technical work from the start and encouraged to formulate your own business development strategy for the region, supported by the firm's business development and marketing professionals.
To be successful in your application, you will:
Be qualified solicitor, legal executive with at least 4 years' experience.
Have experience of a wide range of Commercial Property transactions, particularly landlord and tenant law. Experience dealing with agricultural property will be very advantageous.
Be commercial awareness and understanding of the regional Commercial Property market, its challenges and opportunities.
Have experience of undertaking marketing and business development activity.
Have experience of building relationships with external stakeholders.
