This leading UK law firm are known for their focus on the technology, media and entertainment and private client sectors. Clients range from start-ups to multinational companies, from household names to private individuals and their family offices.
The firm's dedicated team of sports lawyers has represented some of the biggest names across all sports and remains at the cutting edge of sports law - innovating with creative sponsorship deals, establishing and enforcing rules and regulations, negotiating rights across new channels and representing elite athletes facing new challenges and opportunities arising from changes to technology.
Clients include governing bodies, sports rights owners, sponsors, teams, individual sports personalities and player associations. The team's workload regularly covers sports marketing and sponsorship, regulatory disputes, disciplinary proceedings, and reputation management issues - namely advising sports bodies on how to protect their privacy and information rights.
The team are now looking to recruit a Sports Solicitor into their team in London.
As part of the role, you can expect to advise on a range of commercial and regulatory matters including:

• Player contracts
• Image rights and endorsement contracts
• Sponsorship contracts
• Athlete representation
• Event staging arrangements
• Intellectual property and brand protection
• Merchandising
• Sports regulatory and disciplinary matters
• Advertising and marketing
• eSports

The team are looking for an associate with experience gained at a leading national or international law firm and/or within a relevant in-house role. You should have excellent technical skills and experience of advising on the full range of commercial and regulatory matters with a focus on clients within the sports sector.
