Commis Chef
20 hours a week working 4 days out of 7.
Boundary Outlet, Colne, Lancashire
We are looking to appoint a Commis Chef who will assist within fast-paced kitchen environment to create and deliver menu offerings alongside an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things food and will be strong team player.
You will be able to: prepare hot and cold food as per our menu.
We are looking for motivated individuals who will be dedicated to shaping the customer experience within our stores.
What you’ll be responsible for: Helping to build the next-generation Boundary Outlet Experience!
- Thorough understanding of health and hygiene standards and upholding these at all times
- Assisting with the set up the kitchen prior to restaurant opening
- Ability to manage waste and portion control
- Use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
- Enthusiasm towards learning and development opportunities
- Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude
- Strong focus on efficiency, quality and delivery whilst remaining calm in a pressurised environment
