We are delighted to be working exclusively with a brand-new opening in North Yorkshire who are recruiting Commis Chefs to work as part of their talented brigade team as they continue to grow their team as they get closer to opening the doors in July.

We are wanting to speak to junior Commis Chefs from all backgrounds who are wanting to embark on their career with a business that is looking to invest in its people and give them a great standing in the industry. As a Commis Chef you will have a great chance to learn from the talented people around you.
If you are local to North Yorkshire this role is commutable from York, Harrogate, Thirsk, Ripon & Northallerton and transport would be essential.
Role:

• Assisting in the food preparation process
• Cooking and preparing elements of the menu.
• Preparing vegetables, meat & fish
• Assisting the other chefs
• Helping with deliveries & stock rotation
• Contributing to food safety standards

Requirements:

• Experience in a fresh food kitchen.
• Food Safety qualifications
• Relevant catering qualifications or equivalent experience
• Excellent and effective communication skills with the kitchen, front of house and management of staff.
