Are you a Controls Engineer seeking a new challenge?

Our client provides bespoke test equipment. The test equipment generally includes mechanical assemblies, integrated PLC control systems, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

The Role

• Working as part of an installation team installing new test equipment, often in automotive companies
• Assembly of test equipment; mechanical assemblies, electrical systems, control panels, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sensors etc
• PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens S7)
• Calibration of instruments
• Working to general assembly drawings and schematic diagrams, engineering parts lists
• The role will include working in the factory and carrying out installations in the UK and overseas

• Requirements

• Experience working with test rigs, ideally engine test equipment (automotive / industrial)
• Experience with mechanical and electrical projects
• Good with customer interaction
• Understanding PLC software and troubleshooting using diagnostics tools (Siemens S7 preferable)

• Up to 45,000 annual salary
