Job Description

We are currently seeking hardworking, resourceful candidates to join our dynamic team as a Commissioning Engineer.

A key activity for this role will be to commission and support site based control systems and equipment for one of our key clients. Predominantly involving the commissioning of PLC, HMI and Scada to tight deadlines. You will be working as part of a team to commission updated installations, give site support and supervision during the installation and commissioning period. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is completed to the highest standard within agreed deadlines.

Full time position: (08:30 – 17:15 – Monday to Thursday and 8.30 -16.00 on Fridays)

What we are looking for:

• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years practical experience and ideally a solid understanding of electrical diagrams for control panel wiring, electrical installation and commissioning.
• The role requires a self-motivated, practical problem solver with good communication skills
• Electrical qualifications C&G, BTEC, NVQ3, ONC or HNC/HND, 18th edition required.
• Previous experience in a service & support, electrical installation or commissioning role.
• Control Panel design and Panel building would be beneficial
• Knowledge or experience with PLC’s such as Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley or Siemens.
• Experience of equipment installation and commissioning.
• Clean UK Driving License
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
