The Commodity Manager will be responsible for the management of the supply chain, and sourcing activities to support projects in the UK, European and South American facilities to improve Quality, and Cost competitiveness, along with the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Work with suppliers to implement cost management programmes
Ensure Six Sigma projects are implemented
Report company targets to cost control, lead time improvement and quality
Lead cost reduction projects
Manage commodities at different levels and develop short, medium and long term strategies
To be successful in the role of Commodity Manager you will already be working in a similar role as well as the following requirements:
Requirements
Degree qualified
CIPS membership desirable
Experience in Process, Materials or Quality Engineering
Six Sigma Green Belt desirable
In return as the Commodity Manager you will receive
