Wecandoo is a social scale-up offering manual workshops with artisans. With offices in Paris, London, Brussels and Lyon, our mission is to empower talented artisans by providing them with a platform to showcase their unique skills through manual workshops.
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Communication Manager to join our crew in London.
THE POSITION
As a pivotal team member, you will significantly influence how Wecandoo is perceived by our key audiences. Your role will extend beyond brand awareness, focusing on creating engagement and generating demand for our workshops. To achieve this, you will:
Build awareness
Identify and attract clients by establishing Wecandoo’s reputation among early adopters. Understand our target audience and build the awareness strategy by activating the right channels:
- Partnerships: Develop strategic collaborations to increase our visibility toward a large audience. Target affinity brands an influencers and create amazing collaboration with them.
- Artisan communication coaching: Provide guidance for effective communication within the artisan community.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to develop and implement a comprehensive local strategy, incorporating the UK PR agency, ads, affiliate, etc.
Foster engagement
Build a community of ambassador clients through impactful content and craft a compelling social media strategy that anticipates trends and addresses hot topics. You will establish a strong connection with the audience through the following channels:
- Social Media: Build engagement on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Newsletters: Leverage newsletters as a channel for building and maintaining engagement.
Drive purchase
Effectively communicate on the latest Wecandoo news and the new workshops live. Consistently convey a sense of innovation and utilize social media and newsletters as primary channels for driving sales.
- Social Media: Utilize platforms for regular updates and announcements.
- Newsletters: Leverage newsletters as a channel for communicating innovations and offers.
Requirements
- You like what looks good and tastes delicious.
- You are interested in craftsmanship and the experience industry.
- You have min. 2 years of experience in a 360-degree communication position or a community management position.
- You are a native british speaker. French is a plus.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in communications or an equivalent experience.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You can perform various tasks autonomously.
