Reed Marketing and Creative are seeking a Communications and Marketing Manager to take on a vital role in managing, shaping, and driving the corporate messaging of an organisation within the construction industry. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing, media, and digital strategies to increase engagement and promote their brand.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement marketing, media, and digital strategies to increase engagement and promote the brand across the construction industry.
- Create and oversee the distribution of all external communications, including press releases, newsletters, website content, and social media.
- Deliver policy-oriented communications, manage campaigns that drive change, and produce promotional materials.
- Oversee the corporate identity and brand usage, ensuring coordination and quality control for all communications.
- Manage proactive and reactive press functions, act as the first point of contact with media, and develop relationships with journalists and key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Outstanding written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in developing Communications and digital strategies.
- Ability to lead high-profile campaigns and deliver first-class, engaging communications.
- Resilience and the ability to prioritise and assert oneself in a busy team environment.
- Experience in improving end-user web experience, including site content and navigation.
