You’ll have excellent communications skills – written and verbal – and the ability to use digital tools to produce great online or print communications. You’ll have a talent for bringing stories to life with excellent and inspiring written content. You might have some professional comms experience and you have an appetite to develop your career further. We’re happy to support a brilliant candidate to learn on the job.
This is a key role within a small, friendly communications team that is committed to making a positive difference in the world and punches above its weight. Your focus will be finding great stories and writing our publications.
This role will give the post holder an excellent grounding in all aspects of delivering engaging and highly professional integrated digital publications and could be the launch pad for your career in communications.
The Diocese of Gloucester is part of the Church of England and covers most of Gloucestershire, as well as parts of neighbouring counties. Our vision of LIFE Together is to share the transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ, so that people may know life in all its fullness.
The successful post holder will need to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays each week in order that they benefit from the support of the Communications team.
