Advice NI is a registered charity that provides a range of free advice services to the public including benefits, debt advice, EU settlement scheme and other HMRC services.
We also support 69 member organisations across Northern Ireland in the delivery of high-quality advice services by working with them to enhance their standards and service delivery.
We act as a voice for the independent advice sector and offer a range of award-winning training schemes and campaigns to improve the lives of people in Northern Ireland.
We are now seeking a Communications Co-ordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role
As a Communications Co-ordinator, you will create engaging content that raises awareness of our services and those of our member organisations.
Providing organisation-wide support for projects, you will oversee the delivery of key messages across a range of media channels, contributing to impactful campaigns.
You will also create content for social media, websites, press releases and print, and co-ordinate external promotions.
Additionally, you will:
- Act as a point of contact for journalists and media contacts
- Handle media and comms queries, as well as issuing statements
- Facilitate media interviews and conferences
- Support the Communications Manager
- Ensure content is produced in line with our brand guidelines
To be considered as a Communications Co-ordinator, you will need:
- Experience in planning and executing successful communications and marketing campaigns
- Experience in creating compelling, newsworthy content that conveys key messages
- Experience working with case studies, ensuring the ethical use of data
- A deep understanding of various media channels and their effectiveness in reaching target audiences
