About The Role
We are excited to be looking for a Communications Executive. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, this role will involve delivering quality, timely and engaging internal communications to our network of around 1,000 veterinary practices in the UK & Ireland.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, and able to work across multiple projects, build relationships with key stakeholders across the business and takes pride in a job well done.
You’ll be Involved In:
- Supporting the Senior Communications Manager to deliver regular comms aligned to our internal calendar
- Editing publications for distribution to all colleagues
- Creating posters, newsletters and new multimedia content in support of internal campaigns
- Maintaining the news and multimedia content shared on the intranet by the comms team
- Assisting in the production of internal live events, such as our monthly CEO updates

Ideally, you will:
- Be experienced in delivering successful internal communications.
- Have the ability to plan, prioritise and multitask effectively, whilst managing stakeholder expectations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and at ease when dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, from senior leadership to external suppliers.
- Have previous experience drafting communications for channels such as email, magazines, press releases or news stories essential.
- Have some experience with video editing, creating assets such as intranet banners and graphics and photo editing essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Google Analytics, previous use of an intranet platform and email marketing platforms advantageous
- Have a Communications, PR or Marketing degree- desirable but not essential.
