Job specification:
- Develop and implement high quality, effective communications for all internal and external partners and stakeholders.
- Write and optimise written and visual content for the website, digital newsletters and promotional email campaigns, print publications and social networking sites.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Enhance the organisation's public image, engage stakeholders, and promote a positive brand presence.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Marketing Manager on relevant news and developments.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging communication tools.
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of communication materials.
- Collaborate with team members to gather content, conduct research, and organise information.
- Identify key messages and target audiences to effectively convey information.
- Support in the process of creating a new internal intranet. This includes writing and uploading content and keeping it up to date with latest news.
Person specification:
- Proven experience in a communications role, preferably in the charity sector
- Experience of handling and managing communication campaigns
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry trends and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with graphic design tools is a plus.
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented
