NonStop Care are working with a well established local authority in the East Midlands for an experienced Social Worker to join their Children in Care service. The ideal candidate will be motivated & will strive towards creating the best possible outcomes for those in their care.

This position offers hybrid working options, allowing you manage your own caseload and dairy, maximising your time working from home and allowing you to create a fantastic work life balance.

Some responsibilities of the role include;

• Managing a caseload of children for whom the LA acts as corporate parent.
• Undertaking regular assessments and other work to meet statutory requirements.
• Liaise with colleagues and other directorates & external agencies.
• Progress all aspects of care planning and reviews for Children in Care.

Requirements:

• A degree in Social Work & Social Work England registration
• A drivers license
• An up to date DBS check
• The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience working in Children's Services.
