As a crucial link between emergency services and those in need, our dispatchers play a vital role in ensuring swift and effective responses to emergencies. We are seeking a dedicated team member who can maintain composure under pressure, exhibit empathy and understanding towards callers, and demonstrate strong decision-making abilities.
Requirements:
To be successful you will:
- Have demonstrated ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Have strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Have the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Previous experience as a Call Handler is essential for the role.
The nature of the work is very sensitive and attention to detail is vital in all areas. As such, previous experience of working within a sensitive and confidential environment would be desirable.
