Community - 24/7 Psychiatric Liaison

Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse Ipswich Ongoing

We are presently seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a background in Psychiatric Liaison and community experience. Are you ready for a new professional challenge?

• Band: 6
• Location: Ipswich
• Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
• Schedule: Day or Night
• Start date: ASAP
• Pay rates: GBP25 per hour Days, GBP30 per hour Nights

A day in the life of an RMN:

As a mental health nurse specialising in the community, your role is pivotal in delivering patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting visits to patients in the community to ensure their needs are met.
• Administering medication at scheduled times to address patient needs.
• Engaging with patients, understanding their conditions, and providing efficient assistance.
• Monitoring potential improvements or setbacks in the patients' conditions.
• Conducting risk assessments when necessary to ensure patient safety during treatment.

Requirements and qualifications for this role:

• Active registration with the NMC as a mental health nurse.
• Proven community experience, preferably within Psychiatric Liaison.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively with a team when required.
• Commitment to delivering the highest quality of care to patients.
