We are currently seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with extensive community experience, ready to embrace a new professional challenge.
Below are key details of the role:
- Job Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
- Band: 6
- Location: London (East)
- Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday / 9 am – 5 pm
- Start date: ASAP
- Rate of pay: £28-£30 per hour
Responsibilities
As a dedicated mental health nurse specializing in the community, you play a crucial role in providing patient care:
- Conducting regular visits to patients in the community to ensure their needs are met.
- Administering prescribed medications at scheduled times to address patients' specific requirements.
- Engaging in meaningful conversations with patients to comprehend their conditions, enabling more effective assistance and monitoring progress.
- Performing risk assessments when necessary to ensure patient safety and maintain a secure environment during their treatment.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Active registration with the NMC as a mental health nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in a community setting.
- Effective communication skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Dedication to delivering the highest quality of care to patients.
