We have an excellent opportunity to join our expanding team in the East Hampshire area. Our service users are looking for Care Assistants who are kind, compassionate and are prepared to offer everything from companionship, care support and providing personal care. This would be in the comfort of our service users’ homes. If you have experience with this, then great, but if you don’t we are able to provide full training to ensure that you are confident and competent in your role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes or community
- Assist with daily activities, personal care, meal prep, and household tasks
- Foster independence by supporting them to attend social and recreational activities
- Maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the individual
- Evening/weekend work required
Requirements:
- Previous experience preferrable however if you are a compassionate person looking to get into care full training will be given
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in maintaining accurate records
- Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
