SalaryOur fundraising team is growing, and we are delighted to be recruiting to this new role within our friendly, passionate team.
Reporting to the Lead for Trusts and Supporter Engagement, you will use your research skills to identify suitable Trusts to apply to, your writing skills to create compelling applications and your people skills to develop great relationships with funders and individual donors. You will be the first point of contact for all legacy enquiries and help implement the legacy marketing plan. The role also involves keeping our database up to date and showing appreciation to our supporters through by thanking them appropriately including organising events such as coffee mornings and hospice tours.
You will have experience in a similar fundraising role, or transferrable skills including customer care from another sector.
You will have excellent copywriting, creative and proofreading skills and strong analytical skills.
You will be based at our purpose built children’s hospice just outside Maidenhead, which provides support to children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families. We would love to hear from talented individuals who want to help us raise the money that we need to make these services available to all families who need them.
