Proudly serving our community for more than 36 years, we provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care for people with a life-limiting condition, aged 16 years and over, as well as vital support for their families.
We are currently looking for a Senior Community Fundraiser to join our Fundraising team. This is an exciting role for an outstanding relationship builder that combines both responsive and proactive management of community fundraising with the aim of maximising income from these relationships.
A varied role where you’ll promote and implement a range of fundraising events and community fundraising initiatives, alongside recruiting and supporting a network of volunteers that carry out their own fundraising.
We are looking for somebody that is flexible, resilient and prepared to manage a busy and varied workload. Ideally you will have community fundraising experience or experience in another area of fundraising, or you will have transferable skills from sales, events, marketing or PR. Most importantly you will need to be a team player with excellent communication and people skills.
We have a calendar of exciting events each year so the candidate needs to be willing and able to help with the setting up and taking down of events which can be quite physically demanding but incredibly rewarding out and about in the community.
This role is ideally 37.5 hours per week, but 30 hours per week will be considered. Family friendly and flexible, this role can be a hybrid consisting of office (minimum 3 days per week) and home working, and of course you will be out and about across the patch meeting supporters.
We offer a great range of employee schemes and benefits, including:
- Generous annual leave
- Free parking on-site
- Discounted meals in our on-site café
- EAP
- Access to NHS pension scheme if eligible
- Blue Light Discount Card
... and so much more!
Please apply with a CV and cover letter (no more than four pages and uploaded into one document), outlining your experience and skills in relation to the role and person specification.
