TPP are recruiting a Community Mental Health Service Manager on behalf of our client, a leading Mental Health charity, dedicated to providing information and support to improve the lives of those affected by Mental Health.
The Role:
As the Community Mental Health Service Manager, you will play a crucial role within our client's Senior Management Team. You will lead, manage, and develop a portfolio of Mental Health Services, ensuring safe delivery, meeting objectives, and representing the organisation to external stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the Mental Health Services portfolio
- Provide leadership and support to project teams and workers
- Ensure services are delivered safely and meet quality standards
- Promote and represent the service to external agencies and stakeholders
- Participate in Mental Health forums to contribute to strategic development
- Collaborate within the Senior Management Team to achieve organisational goals
- Oversee the management of overall operational budgetary and financial responsibilities
- Prepare management reports for the Director and Board
Essential requirements:
- Experience developing and implementing service redesign
- Strong understanding of Mental Health conditions and recovery models
- Senior management experience within health, social care, or charity sectors
- Experience in leading, managing, and developing staff teams
- Effective communication skills and ability to inspire trust and confidence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital media platforms
- Excellent project management, development and evaluation skills
