Community Mental Health Nurse

We are currently working in partnership with an NHS Trust in North East London who are seeking a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to join their Early Intervention Service in Hackney.

Department: Early Intervention Service

Location: Hackney

Rate of pay: £31 p/h Umbrella

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Contract: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension

Key responsibilities:

• Administer depot injections and manage medication plans.
• Develop and implement strategies to prevent relapse.
• Conduct thorough assessments with an awareness of Care Act responsibilities.
• Provide care with a recovery focus, considering the overall well-being of clients.
• Recognise and appropriately raise concerns regarding the safeguarding of adults and children.
• Ensure regular physical health checks are conducted and interventions are provided according to national guidelines.

Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC pin
• Experience working within an Early Intervention Service
