Schedule: Long Days and Long Nights, Monday to Sunday

A Day in the Life of a Band 6Community Psychiatric Nurse for Urgent Care:
As a Band 6 CPN specializing in Urgent Care, you will play a crucial role in providing rapid and effective mental health interventions within the vibrant landscapes of Essex. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Responding promptly to urgent mental health cases, both in the community and designated urgent care settings.
- Conducting rapid assessments of individuals in crisis and implementing immediate interventions.
- Collaborating closely with emergency services, crisis helplines, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure coordinated and effective urgent mental health care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of urgent care interventions, adhering to professional standards in mental health.
- Providing support and guidance to individuals and their families during crisis situations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current and valid registration with the NMC as a Band 6 CPN.
- Proven experience in a Band 6Community Psychiatric nursing role, with a focus on urgent or crisis intervention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary urgent care team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality urgent mental health care.
