Community Recovery Worker

If you have an interest in working in the mental health sector and making a positive difference, we have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Recovery Worker. Full training is provided! Car owners/drivers are essential.

Based in our specialist discharge service, you will be working with our multi-disciplinary team to support individuals in their first six weeks post-discharge - you will also be working alongside vulnerable clients to avoid hospital re-admission where possible.

This Recovery Worker role is incredibly fast-paced so you must be flexible and adaptable, able to think on your feet and react well to change.

This Community Recovery Worker role will be a full-time 40-hour per week contract:

• Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.30 or offered as 45-hours 09.00 - 18.30. The role is typically on weekdays.
• Some limited weekend shifts may be needed for the demands of the service.

Although we offer full training, there are some attributes that will better equip you to succeed in what can be an incredibly rewarding role.

• It would be desirable for you to have had experience in supporting a person(s) with a mental health condition and within a community-based service
• Experience in creating/writing care plans and risk assessments would be beneficial
